OBJETIVOS DE LA FEDERACIÓN LATINOAMERICANA DE PSICOTERAPIA Promover el mejor desarrollo de la psicoterapia, como tratamiento, ciencia y profesión; en todo el ámbito de Latinoamérica Atender a la formación, las condiciones de trabajo y las relaciones entre sí de los terapeutas de distintas nacionalidades y orientaciones científicas Fomentar la relación entre las asociaciones de cada uno de los países miembros, para un mejor intercambio de información científica y de investigación Organizar eventos científicos latinoamericanos e internacionales

Está en proyecto la revista “PSICOTERAPIA EN AMÉRICA LATINA” • Evaluar los alcances de la acreditación de los psicoterapeutas • Potenciar nuevas estrategias para estimular el respaldo legal de las acreditaciones • Estimular el desarrollo de las asociaciones nacionales
