  7. Utah • It is illegal not to drink milk.

  8. Utah • It is illegal to detonate any nuclear weapon.

  9. Utah • Birds have the right of way on all highways. • A husband is responsible for every criminal act committed by his wife while she is in his presence. • It is considered an offense to hunt whales.

Utah • Kaysville - You must have identification to enter a convienence store after dark. • Logan - Women may not swear. • Monroe - Daylight must be visible between partners on a dance floor. • Provo - Throwing snowballs will result in a $50 fine. • Salt Lake - No one may walk down the street carrying a paper bag containing a violin.

  24. Idaho • Illegal for a man to give his sweetheart a box of candy weighing less than fifty pounds. • You may not fish on a camel’s back. • Riding a merry-go-round on Sundays is considered a crime.

Idaho City Laws • Boise • Residents may not fish from a giraffe’s back. • Eagle • Dirt may not be swept from one’s house into the street. • Bicycles are not allowed in the tennis courts. • Persons may not camp out on sidewalks in the city. • Pocatello • A law passed in 1912 provided that “The carrying of concealed weapons is forbidden, unless some are exhibited to public view. • A person may not be seen in public without a smile on their face.
