At the University of the Peloponnese we view our mission as threefold: Education – Research – Service to Society In order to fulfil our mission: • We rely on our people, both our staff and students • We contribute to the development of the region, responding to social, cultural and economic needs • We promote the dissemination of scientific knowledge in the society

PRIMARY AIMS • Transmit and disseminate knowledge through teaching • Cultivate the arts • Promote the search for scientific truth • Develop the students’ capacity to learn and think critically • Foster the free movement of ideas • Cultivate academic ethos and high civic responsibility among the students • Provide them with the requisite tools that will ensure their successful scientific and professional career • Promote international collaborations • Uphold the principles of transparency and accountability in its governance, building internal and external trust
