Searching tools for each program • HINARI uses PubMed, a database of over 22,000,000 citations • HINARI and AGORA have access to the Summon Search Tool • AGORA uses CAB Abstracts • OARE uses Environmental Issues and Policy Index and Environmental Sciences and Pollution Management search tools • None of these tools index all the program specific Research4Life journals • Access is either from the bottom of the Contents page or the Browse databases listing

  3. Searching Options – PubMed (HINARI)

Summon Search Tool • As of July 2014, tool is available in HINARI & AGORA (pilot) – from the Browse databases listing • In HINARI, the search results are for what participating publishers grant access for - in most specific country • In AGORA, results are for all citations – available in specific country or not • Will be available for other programs at a later date

  5. Using Summon & CAB Abstracts (AGORA)

  6. OARE Databases Three useful tools for identifying articles via keyword searching are in the database and article searching list. Summon was added in January 2015

  7. Environmental Issues and Policy Index (EBSCO) Once the Browse databases list opens, click on Environmental Issues & Policy Index (EBSCO).
