  16. What Worked • More participation than expected • HF Pactor worked well through the XE2 gateway on 20 meters in Mexico. • It was  a good exercise for training.  We could do more like this.

  17. What didn’t work • adding ICS forms to a file on the packet PC • Clean up address book • Need DSTAR for Dummies x2 • Update repeater list for all radios – including DSTAR • 40/80m difficult “Qualify” • DRATS • DSTAR DRATS proved unreliable through the Synopsis repeater

  19. Spring SET 2014 • Spring SET Apr 16th 0700-1400 • Wednesday • Everything works – Internet – Repeaters – Etc… be prepared for surprises • It’s about the connection to County Emergency Managers • Earthquake & Flooding Event • Small limited SET

  22. TIP: know what poison oak looks like. To be fair to our SEC, I don't think Vince got into any while tying off the end of the dipole

  23. TIP: this is the easiest way to get a rope over a tree branch that I have found. Lee KD7CNH tries the underhand fling from a bucket.

Ben Johnson(Chair), Ken Tolliver (Secretary), Rick Banton (Member-at-Large) and Paul Thutt (Member-at-Large) are the terms that are expiring. All wish to continue serving.
