  3. 專業領域 • 精神醫學、精神疾病遺傳流行病學、生物統計 • 主要研究方向 • 建立社區精神醫療網 • 精神醫療模式多元化及社區化,結合居家照護、社區復健中心以及康復之家,服務對象包含精神分裂症患者、智能障礙兒童、以及其他慢性精神疾病患者。 • 持續追踪精神疾病之預防醫學及處遇方針 • 對各種不同疾患及族群做相關研究,利用結構方程模式(Structural Equation Modeling; SEM)以及Receiver operating characteristic (ROC)等統計方法來找出潛在危險因子以及篩選指標。 • 研究精神遺傳流行病學 • 針對某些疾患與基因進行研究,如阿茲海默症與Apolipoprotein E有其相關性,尤其是Apoε2及Apoε4;而憂鬱症則與單胺氧化酶基因(MAOA gene)有相關連等等。遺傳與環境的交互作用,基因之變異與較差之環境可能會引發疾病的發病。 • 與台灣其他教學醫院合作研究“出生世代”及“精神疾病患者戒煙計畫”,以及與國際大學合作研究“自閉症、精神分裂症患者之社區治療模式” • 參與國民健康局推動之台灣出生世代之研究。自2003年開始進行前置作業,2005年開始正式研究。我們以“嬰幼兒發展量表”持續追蹤此世代的兒童至目前五歲。
