Flutolanil and New Developments in Crop Protection: Innovations from Nichino America Inc.
At the IR-4 National Meeting in September 2007 in Tampa, FL, Nichino America Inc. presented key innovations in crop protection, particularly focusing on flutolanil-based products like Artisan and Moncut. These fungicides are effective against Rhizoctonia and Sclerotium rolfsii and are registered for use on potatoes, rice, peanuts, and turf. The presentation also highlighted ongoing residue trials, the chemistry and mode of action of flutolanil, and new products in development for managing bacterial and fungal diseases in various crops.
