  3. Impact to USPS and USAS • SIF agent being written for USPS/USAS • Data will flow from district to state • District will validate and check prior to final submission • Middleman goes away – • What do you mean “middleman goes away?”

  4. EMIS Database Goes Away • EMIS as we know it now goes away • Districts will load data from USPS directly to a web-based system. • No need for database in the middle. • Who will validate? • Who will verify? • Help!

  7. SIF Calls for New Process • ODE Issues Report Request • District compiles data for report from USPS • District uploads and validates • District makes corrections in USPS • District uploads data and validates • Repeat, Repeat, Repeat • District submits final report

  8. Communicate Now • Discuss how USPS gets reported now. • Who is involved? • Who makes corrections? • Who makes decisions on coding questions? • Do changes need to be put in place? • Do security changes need made in USPS?
