  2. Are you tired of tossing and turning sides every night? You must be having a rough idea about your next day. Cranky, lethargic, and passed out sorts. That happens because the suggested seven to nine hours of sleep is disturbed and you become even more groggy and grumpy. Long-term SleepDeprivation affects your health mentally and physically.  According to science, the lack of good slumber can drag you into many health problems such as weight gain and the immune system.  It affects our body functions and systems adversely, let’s figure out the causes behind this-  To cut a long story short, the main reason behind sleep deprivation is lack of sleep and reduced quality of sleep. Sleeping for less than seven hours daily can cause you some serious health conditions that can affect your body badly. This might be an underlying condition of some sleeping disorder.

  3. Our body requires sleep regularly as we need a regular supply of food, air, and water. During sleep, our body regains its hormonal balance and does the healing process. Our brain helps in forging the new thought process and helps in memory retention.  Without having proper bouts of sleep, people cannot have their bodies function properly. It can result in a dramatic fall in the quality of your life.  Some noticeable symptoms of Sleep deprivation are as follows-  • Excessive Sleepiness  • Frequent gasping and yawning  • Sudden irritation  • Daytime fatigue

  4. Stimulants such as caffeine are not enough for increasing the urge of the body not to fall asleep. It can make the situation even worse making it even harder for you to fall asleep.  However, in turn, it might lead to a round of nighttime insomnia accompanied by excessive caffeine consumption to fight the lethargy caused by the deprived hours of shut-eye. Behind the scenes, acute sleep deprivation can disturb your body’s interior systems and can cause more than just the beginning signs and symptoms listed above-  Central Nervous System  The central nervous system is the most important information bridge of the human body. Sleep is necessary for the proper functioning of your body. However, acute insomnia can disrupt your general body functioning and information processing.

  5. While sleeping, bridges are formed between each nerve cell also known as neurons in the human brain that helps in remembering new information we have processed. Sleep deprivation results inexhaustionof the brain, therefore our brain is not able to perform its duties well.  Sleep Deprivation is also responsible for negatively affecting our mental capabilities and emotional condition. You might feel impatient or more likely to have mood swings. It also compromises your creativity and understanding of taking decisions.  If you continue to undergo Sleep Deprivation, you might face severe consequences like having hallucinations— looking or hearing things whithate not there. Sleep Deprivation can also result in the trigger of mania in people especially those who have bipolar disorder.  Other psychological menaces consist of the following Disease- Concurrent Impulsive behavior • Bouts of anxiety  • Depression  • Paranoia  • Frequent suicidal thoughts  • These were the points related to Sleep Deprivation which leads to some serious consequences.
