Some of the EU funded projects in which ESDL is participating • SAFEPHONE – development of an intelligent emergency phone-box capable of determining it’s physical state. • SAFEWATER – an innovative way to measure the concentration of potentially carcinogenic compounds in industrial effluents. • E-SUPPORT – a suite of software products aimed at integrating the information required by site engineers • IATROFORM – an innovative chair for children suffering from cerebral palsy

  5. Writing and submitting proposals to fund your innovative and potentially lucrative idea • OPTION 1: Write the proposal yourself. This is not trivial and is not for the uninitiated or faint hearted. Technically oriented professionals tend to shy away from writing. • OPTION 2: Join forces with a company with a track record in submitting proposals which are then funded. The latter may well be the better option for those with innovative ideas BUT with no experience in writing proposals or lacking the will to do so.
