My Jobs • Support the actors and actresses when they needed assistance • Keep track of the various clothing items and know where they should go • Do the laundry so as to prepare for the next performance • Standing by for quick changes
Connections • This show is very relevant today for its entertainment value and how society in the 60’s is reflected
My Goals (Part 2) • To increase my overall knowledge of stage lighting and the light hang process • To understand the mechanics of mirror units and the process of hanging them • To help others on light hang crew if they need assistance
My Jobs (Part 2) • To hang lights in the grid as indicated by the specifications of the light plot • To focus the lights in the grid in accordance with the lighting designers wishes • To be safe
Connections (Part 2) • The lights for Free to be You and Me served the important role of time and place (along with the mood) • Both the Stage Lighting and Lighting Design classes helped me understand the lighting designers intentions for this show
