In keeping with CMEA, customers that choose not to utilize the optional scanner or do not have their POS integrated will maintain an abbreviated signature log containing only transaction id and signature. 2 - If a customer chooses to use the optional scanner, they simply scan the barcode located on the NPLEx signature slips provided to capture the customer’s signature electronically. Pharmacies who have their POS integrated will use their existing hardware to submit signatures electronically. View the customer’s signature by generating a pharmacy log report
