What is a Speed booster top up pack? • A speed booster pack enables a Netconnect+ subscriber, currently on an unlimited plan, to resume browsing at HSD speeds – 3.1 mbps • When the customer’s browsing is throttled by PCRF to 144 kbps – after exhaustion of his allowed data quota as per plan, he can purchase this Top up –speed booster pack • This Speed booster top up back can be chosen online through the ‘my services’ portal • When the customer is browsing, upon exhaustion of his allowed quota, he will be DIRECTED ONLINE to my services with a message that his data allowance quota has been exhausted
SPEED BOOSTER Top Up Backs – Available options • Rs 150 for 500 MB of HSD data • Rs 200 for 1 GB of HSD data • The customer has two top up pack options to choose from – presently • The data allowance against these top up packs is valid for 30 days from date of attachment • Eg. Customer chooses the Rs 150 top up pack – he has thus purchased 500MB of data • He has chosen this on 25th of a month; He has a billing cycle date of 28th • He has used 100MB of data after 25th. So 400 MB data is still left for him • He will be charged Rs 150 + service tax on his bill on 28th • the balance 400MB of data can be used by him after 28th till 24th of the next month • If a customer is on a 3GB plan, in the next bill cycle, the balance data of the top up pack will be utilized first & then his 3GB allowance will be deducted
SPEED BOOSTER Top Up Backs – Important points to NOTE • A customer must have a valid my-services id for a seamless ordering of the Top up pack • In case my services id is not available, then he must have provided his alternate no. • At the instance of redirection by PCRF when his allowed data quota is exhausted, the customer can either choose to login through my services or take the help of his alternate no. • In case of opting for alternate number route, the customer will get a 4 digit PIN no, which he has to enter subsequently • The subsequent slides will provide a step-by-step procedure for ordering for the booster packs

CUSTOMER CAN EITHER OPT FOR ‘MY SERVICES LOGIN’ OR ALTERNATE NO. • 4 DIGIT PIN IS NOT REQUIRED FOR MY SERVICES PROCEDURE • FOR ALTERNATE NO, HE HAS TO CLICK THE ‘SENDPIN’ ICON, INSTANTLY A 4 DIGIT PIN WILL BE SENT TO HIS ALTERNATE NUMBER
ALTERNATE NUMBER - 4 DIGIT PIN - WILL COME AS SMS IN THIS FORMAT • THIS HAS TO BE ENTERED CORRECTLY
Sms comes from 59111 – enter the PIN mentioned in the space provided above • PRESS CONFIRM, ONCE YOU HAVE ENTERED THE 4 DIGIT PIN
CUSTOMER CAN Choose from the packs provided here, according to his requirement • CUSTOMER TO CLICK ON ‘BUY NOW’ OPTION • HE / SHE NEED NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENT, IT WILL BE ATTACHED IN THE SUBSEQUENT BILL
AFTER SELECTING THE OPTION, CUSTOMER NEEDS TO CLICK ON CONFIRM OPTION
POST THAT, THE PACK WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE CUSTOMER’S ACCOUNT AND • THE APPLICABLE DATA ALLOWANCE WILL BE ATTACHED IN PCRF; AFTER A LITTLE WHILE, THE CUSTOMER CAN RESUME HIS BROWSING AT HSD SPEEDS – 3.1MBPS
