Morning Announcements and Words of Wisdom - November 28, 2011

Good morning, Northside! This is Abby Fitts and Daylen Stone. Please take a moment for silent reflection. In today's news: There will be two mock trial meetings this week on November 29 and December 1 in Room 309, starting right after school. All members must attend and bring their case folders. Additionally, former volleyball team members or those interested in trying out should meet Coaches Deal and Dailey in Room 105 at 8 AM on November 29 for a mandatory meeting. Remember, integrity is essential for wholeness. Honesty is the best policy. Make it a great day!

  1. Good Morning Northside!I’m Abby Fitts!I’m Daylen Stone!Please pause for a moment of silent reflection

In the news today, Monday, November 28, 2011: There will be two mock trial meetings this week right after school tomorrow and Thursday December 1st. the meeting will be in room 309 beginning right after school and lasting over an hour. all team members are expected to attend and please bring your case folder. make sure you have a ride to pick you up.

  4. If you were a member of the volleyball team last year or would like to try out for next year’s team, please meet Coach Deal and Coach Dailey in room 105 on Tuesday, November 29th at 8AM. This is a mandatory meeting to discuss the banquet and off season workouts.

  5. Now for a few words of wisdom: How many of you have ever worked for hours putting together one of those really big picture puzzles, only to discover a few pieces are missing? When you are putting a puzzle together, you are actually integrating all the pieces to create the whole picture. To integrate means "to make whole" and the word integrity means "wholeness." It also means "the quality of being honest." You see, we can't be whole human beings unless we are honest  human beings.

  6. So here's my bulletin: If you want to feel really good about yourself, you  have to integrate all the beautiful pieces that make up you. When you are  being dis-honest, something is missing. You're incomplete like a picture  puzzle with missing pieces. Today, remember the words of Cervantes in his famous book, Don Quixote: Honesty is the best policy.
