This regional forum, taking place on October 15 in King of Prussia, October 17 in Pittsburgh, and October 24 in Harrisburg, aims to develop a guidance document for IEP teams on implementing Chapter 4 and the Keystone Exams. Targeted participants include Bureau of Special Education members, curriculum leaders, district and charter schools, intermediate units, and special education leaders. The forum will address key questions regarding Keystone Exam participation, course structures for students with disabilities, and resources needed for compliance with the new regulations.

Keystones for Graduation • Ch.4.24 High School Graduation requirements. [(e)] (f) Special education students. Children with disabilities who satisfactorily complete a special education program developed by an Individualized Education Program team under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and this part shall be granted and issued a regular high school diploma by the school district of residence. This subsection applies if the special education program of a child with a disability does not otherwise meet the requirements of this chapter.
