Advancing Marine Research Collaboration: The Korea Sea Grant Program Workshop 2012

The 2012 Korea Sea Grant Program (KSGP) International Workshop was held to foster collaboration between the US and Korea regarding marine research and sustainable coastal resource management. Initiated by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in 2000 as part of the "Ocean 21" initiative, KSGP emphasizes university involvement through grants and education. Participants, including esteemed researchers from Jeju National University and US Sea Grant programs, exchanged insights on current status and future directions while promoting volunteer initiatives and student exchanges.
