The Ohio Department of Education (ODE) is implementing a new electronic EMIS Accountability Signoff system that eliminates the need for manual submission of signoff forms. This secure, web-based approach aims to streamline workflows, enhance tracking capabilities, and provide real-time status updates to districts. Key stakeholders including superintendents and treasurers will be required to utilize this system, which operates through the SAFE security application. Districts are encouraged to apply for SAFE accounts and ensure all personnel roles are accurately documented in the OEDS-R ahead of the December FY04 implementation.
