  4. 6th Grade Activities • You’ll make new friends and discover new interests. • Theater Sports • Chorus • Band & Orchestra • Service Club • Math Olympiad • Field Trips • The Musical • Quarterly Perks • Class Trip • Class Picnic

  5. Theater Sports • Application Will be Available Online • Date to be Announced • First Come Basis • 6th Graders Only! • Lots of Laughs

  6. 6th Grade Service Club • Service to the School • Service to the Community • Mrs. Kindley & Mrs. O’Brien will make an announcement

  7. Chorus / Band / Orchestra • Join Chorus • Make the Commitment • Know your lesson schedule • Get right back to class! • Make up class work! • Please don’t use a lesson as an excuse for not doing an assignment.

  8. ID • It stands for INDEPENDENT DEVELOPMENT • Bring all the work you need to class • Be on time • This is the time to get help and to get work done – not for talking • If you need work – we’ll be happy to help!

  9. Before Homeroom… • Take notes to the office • Take excuses to the nurses office • Please visit locker, bathroom, get ALL supplies for class, and be in homeroom BEFORE announcements begin • Please don’t expect to call home • With our A/B schedule we must start / end homeroom on time

  10. During Homeroom • Show RESPECT while saying the pledge. • Listen to announcements! • Remember to sign up for lunch or it’s PBJ for you!

  11. The Musical • Be a part of it!

  12. Math Olympiad • Varsity • Jr. Varsity • Modified • Improve Your Math Skills • Have Fun Mrs. Meredith & Mrs. DeGroat will have further information

  13. 6th Grade Perks • Possibilities: • Bowling • Movie Night • Ice Skating • Sports Night • Don’t get yourself eliminated!

  14. Field Trips and the Class Trip • Besides going on field trips - 6th grade goes on an annual class trip! • Last year we spent the day at Niagara Falls!

  15. We went on the Maid of the Mist

  16. & then got seriously wet at the Cave of the Winds!

  17. 6th Grade Class Picnic • Totally awesome way to end the year! • The Beach • Sound System • Dancing • Basketball • Volleyball
