S: Strengths • Adhoc.fm • Simple layout and not cluttered with unhelpful information • Includes links to other social media outlets like facebook and twitter • Includes audio and video on the home page • Includes all up to date information about music • GorillavsBear.net • Bright and colorful, captures the readers attention right away • Lots of pictures and things to click on • Includes audio and video on the home page • Menu bar allows you to explore the website easily

W: Weaknesses • GorillavsBear.net • Cluttered and somewhat overwhelming homepage • Distracting ads that take up a lot of room • No links to other social media outlets • Adhoc.fm • Boring color scheme, most of the blog is black and white • Menu bar is extremely simple and does not offer a lot of other options • Plain layout

  6. O: Opportunities • GorillavsBear.net • On their homepage they need to insert a link that will take their viewers to their own social media outlets. This way the viewers can post the things they see on this blog to their own social medias’. The site will get noticed more because it will be on other sites. I suggest putting the social media icons right below the menu bar.

  7. O: opportunities • Adhoc.fm • Since their blog has a simple layout and color scheme, they need to think about putting more pictures and less words. Their home page only features three pictures with lots of words underneath them. If they inserted more, it would make the blog more interactive for the viewers and would also make the blog a lot more colorful.

  8. T: Threats • Both music blogs have many competitors. There are multiple different blogs that offer almost the exact same content but may have a different layout or offer more videos, pictures, music etc. These blogs are all vying for more viewers and must have the most unique and appealing blog to attract more people than their competitors.
