Building an Intercultural Society: Empowering Communities for Inclusive Dialogue

Community development plays a vital role in fostering intercultural dialogue and social inclusion by empowering ethnic minorities and acknowledging cultural differences. However, challenges such as identity struggles, lack of recognition, and slow implementation of anti-racism initiatives persist. Overcoming these challenges requires resourcing immigrant-led organizations, fostering government commitment, and addressing gaps in service provision. The danger of leadership and transparency gaps must be acknowledged to ensure the integration of new communities and the elderly into society's fabric.
