WEEK 4 6SS. January 21-24 Tuesday- Friday . Take chapter ten Quiz/test Became apparent through formative assessment today students were not ready for a test. I turned it into a take home quiz after they all tried in class.

  1. WEEK 4 6SS January 21-24 Tuesday- Friday

  2. Take chapter ten Quiz/test Became apparent through formative assessment today students were not ready for a test. I turned it into a take home quiz after they all tried in class. • (Feels like time to move on:  Adjustment again: Take home quiz/assignment will be graded & used as a Final test on for Chapter 10. Went over any questions students had before they turned the assignment in, let them make corrections, collected and will enter as a test grade) Tuesday January 21(Monday was MLK & a In-service for Teachers)

  3. Martin Luther King: Memories of news interviews MLK gave. Time to honor a country’s leader. • Practice / study for map tests coming up. • Wrap up Chapter 10 • Read together as a class Chapter 11 pages 293-303 if possible. Instruct students to notice text structure to grasp key concepts. Oral guided reading. Tuesday January 21

  4. Hand out guided reading sheets. • Have students finish last two pages of chapter we did not complete as a whole group. • Work alone then in partners to answer first page in guided reading. • Go over questions 1-6 in class and assign 7-10 for HW. • Work Sheet Wednesday January 22

  5. Clear desks except a writing utensil.  • In teacher created partners complete a practice European Political Map Test. • ( Took Most of the hour) • Begin page two of guided reading HW, not due until Monday. • Put up Thank You Notes in the hall for Ms. Bright. • HW STUDY FOR MAP TEST!!! Thursday January 23

  6. European Political Map Test  • You Need tow pages • 1. the map 2. answer sheet (write out country’s name) • Done?? Work on Guided reading pages. Whole packet is due Tuesday start of class. • Caught up? Read current events: Junior Scholastic for fun. Please return/leave in classroom. • I borrowed these from Mrs. Atkinson. 11:35-12:35 6SS Friday January 24
