  2. Attendance • Classroom door opens at 7:35 a.m. • Tardy at 7:45 a.m.-must sign in at the guidance office • Must have note turned in within three days of an absence • Note changes in afternoon transportation

  3. Snack10:20 Daily • Please label your child’s snack and send in any utensils that are needed. • Food Allergies

  5. Lunch11:50-12:15 You are welcome to join your child for lunch. You may sit at the “parent’s table” inside the cafeteria or outside the cafeteria at the picnic tables.

  6. Be mindful of nut allergies. All birthday treats will be consumed in the cafeteria during lunch. No homemade goods! You may send in treats for our class to celebrate your child’s birthday. Please send in any needed utensils/paper goods as well. Birthdays

  7. Report Cards • There will be no interim reports this year. Please check your child’s portal to stay up to date on his/her grades.

  8. Discipline • Green Great day! • Blue First Warning • Yellow Second Warning time out, note home • Red Final Warning time out, parent contact disciplinary action

  9. Positive Reinforcment Treasure Box Stickers Sweet Treats (brain bears, smarties, etc.) Jewels and Gems

  10. Afternoon Car Line • Stay in your car. • Stay in your lane. • No cell phones, please. • Need car sign OR pink slip. • Make sure car sign is visible. • Move car up to buckle child in seat.

  11. Calendar Newsletter Homework Daily Behavior Important Dates Teacher Notes Please review, and initial daily. Label any money and place in zipper pouch. Daily Folders

  12. Uniforms • Practice buttons, tucking in shirts, belts, and tying shoes. • Please follow rules about socks, belts, and sweaters. • Must wear navy bottoms and white top for field trips. • Friday is spirit day. • Label all outwear with your child’s name. • Put a labeled ziploc bag of extra clothes in your child’s bookbag.

  13. Media CenterYou are responsible for the books! • No student checkouts until after the first interim. • Parents may check out books, once paperwork is filled out.

  14. Upcoming Events We will also be taking field trips to Signature Brands, Outback Steakhouse, and Sante Fe Zoo.
