Join us for an inspiring art walk on April 17th, 2014, where Kindergarten students will visit various art galleries to observe and appreciate diverse artwork. This exciting trip will provide students with a unique opportunity to gather inspiration for their own creations. We will be focusing on capturing the essence of spring through photography. Students will learn important rules about gallery etiquette, including staying with their partners, keeping their hands to themselves, not touching the artwork, and maintaining quiet voices indoors.

What are we going to be doing? • We will be visiting art galleries. Where Artists put their artwork for people to see with their eyes. • After we get some inspiration, we will make our own artwork.
Why are we going to art galleries? • We are going to art galleries to show you that art is very different. Like your opinion, there is no one right way to do art. • We are going to get some inspiration for our own artwork.
What type of artwork are we going to be creating? • We will be taking pictures of things that remind us of SPRING. • Hmmmm…..what can I take a picture of? • Can I take a picture of….
Where are we going? We will be going to Main and 4th street to 4 different galleries.
