4. Constitute a dynamic working group . ... In consultation with the president of the University and the vice president, a working group of five university staff members were selected to represent the various disciplines of the university. A consultation group was constituted of several faculties deans, representing the various disciplines of the university.A meeting with the faculties deans was held to present the university Chair on innovation, : - to inform them about the advance of project and discuss the possibility to pass to the act , - to have their opinions and their suggestion on the various points of project , - to work out a strategy at the faculty level for the technology transfer and innovation, - to participate in the dissemination permanent for the faculties . 8. Working Group Activities.... First meeting with the consultation group at the Aleppo University aimed to inform the university president and all the deans about the tempus UNCHAIN project, a power point presentation in Arabic, summarized all the working packages for the project. 9. -We obtained a spaceof 70 square meters to host the chair, it is located near the AUF (AgenceUniversitaire pour la Francophonie), it consists of an office for secretary and a large room for Computer laboratory and training. Another lecture room could be prepared in the near future. • -The furniture is ready and they are in utilization by the working group • -Until now, there is no any restriction to establish the chair and integrate it in the mainframe of our University hierarchy. On the contrary, the president of the University encourages us and facilitates the establishment of this innovation chair. The University – Industry reality - University research is generally of little importance to the industry and their impact is modest in economic development. - The ability of the industry in Syria and Arab countries generally modest knowledge of the exploitation and use of R&D and innovation to transform the value.  - Lack of awareness, researchers at the university for the importance of scientific research devoted to solve the problems of industrial.  - The weakness of communication and information exchange between European universities and MEDA universities, which prevents the exchange of experiences and learn from successful experiences. 16. About the questionnaires! The working group made a good effort to complete the required questionnaire. This questionnaire was the core investigation and in a great significance to start collecting the information about the reality of university – industry relation. However, we have found several significant remarks about the structure (the form and questions itself), that can be summarized as following:
