This seminar held at Charles University on April 17, 2014, focused on the evaluation and advancement of research initiatives at the institution. With approximately 900 million Kč allocated for interdisciplinary research and 130 million Kč for multidisciplinary teams, programs such as PRVOUK and UNCE aim to replace outdated funding models while fostering academic excellence. Discussions included the challenges faced by the humanities in evaluation assessments, the establishment of the Charles University Grant Agency, and methods to improve international collaboration and recognition in research.
