  2. Our Learning ObjectiveToday we will count and group objects inones and tens. CFU: What will we do today boys and girls? What are we going to group the objects in?

  3. Activate Prior Knowledge We know that numbers zero to nine have only one digit. For example: 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 Once we reach 10 we have two digits and we call this 10.

Step four: Write the number of the group of tens in the tens column and the number of ones left over in the ones column. Step five: Write your number on the line. The number you write is the number of bats that flew out of the cave.
