Ex: Mass,Core and Dream Know your INTEREST! .. Know the field you are strong in and the domain you want to work. Learn to Light Your Hopes in Case of Disappointments, after all Life is for the Uncertain. “Placement is 99% preparation and 1% Luck”! 

  20. During the placements.. • Know about the company -> Visit their websites -> Your seniors, friends from other colleges • Know about the pattern of the written round(s) -> on paper / online ?? -> Topics • Work out your RESUME… • Know the kind of questions asked during the interviews

Alien Vs Alien (Technical) • Work out your RESUME each time.. • Learn the art of matching your interests to that of the company’s -> say, for ‘CISCO’ - highlight “Computer Networks” and “Unix” as subjects of your interest -> ‘SYMBIAN’ – “Operating Systems”, “C++” • Know the possibilities.. e.g., swap() , recursive pow(), malloc(), linked lists • Learn the art of diverting the attention of the interviewee, if in case.. Never say ‘I Cant’. • If you don’t know any question, try not to BLUFF! “Don’t beat around the bush”

Alien Vs Alien ( HR) • Prepare for the usual HR questions like -> Tell me about yourself? -> Why our organization? -> Where do you find yourself after 5 years? -> Questions related to your activities if at all you specified any in your resume -> Answering the case studies -> PuZzles IMPORTANT: Any Questions?? ..

Post Job Offer… • Ask for Projects / Internships • Check out the offer letters • Medical Tests • Visit the Company, Check the work culture, ethics • Check out the facilities • Learn to THANK the Placement cell especially the staff at the placement cell • If possible, drop a word to your seniors about your offer.. 
