Define each type of connection • Text-to-text • This is when you make a connection between what you just read and something you read or watched in the past. • Text-to-world • This is when you make a connection between what you just read and something that is happening (has happened) in the world, for example something that has just been in the news. • Text-to-self • This is when you make a connection between what you just read and something that has happened (is happening) in your own life.
