  3. Little snot rag (Little boy blue) Little snot rag, come blow your nose. It’s spraying all over, It’s just like a hose. Here is some chicken soup to eat. Now you’d better drink it, or I’ll twist your feet.

  4. School bus, school bus (Ladybird ladybird) School bus, school bus drive away home. Your children are waiting, they’re starting to groan. All except one, and that’s little Fred. Cos’ he faked an illness and now he’s in bed.

  5. Homework Homework, oh homework you’re making me sick. The amount I am getting is as heavy as a brick! I’m all stressed out lying on my bed, while my worries of failing float in my head.

  6. Who is she? She seems as tall as a blackboard, I feel as small as an ant, She seems as frightening an eagle, I know I’m shaking like a little mouse! She seems to roar like a lion, I sound as quiet as a sleeping baby, But I hope she’s really as gentle as a flower, Because sometimes I behave like an Elephant. Who is she?

  8. All Happy Happy are the clothes that hug my neck. Happy are the feelings that fill my brain and heart. Happy are the books that fill my shelves. Happy is the money that lies in the bank. Happy are the people that forever surround me. I am Happy, Happy is me.

  9. THE FLEA At school I had an itchy head. At night as well, and so I said: “Do I have lice? Boy, I hope so! A day without school is relaxing and slow.” I got a day off, but unluckily, I found on my head not lice but a flea! I went to the doctors which gave me a thrill, he did not give me syrup, or even a pill. He scraped at my head which didn’t feel cool, if only if only I was back in school!

  10. Moving on Yon green tree, it waves Thoughts of thine smile and laughter Lost in the wind, thou love lingers on I remember, remember Thy first apple, so sweet and sorrowful Thy first thought And on, and on, and all the while, Yon green tree, it waves
