  2. Daniel Makoski Daniel Makoski is the Interaction Design Manager for Microsoft Surface, responsible for creating the language of gestures and touch behind this revolutionary product. He has led design teamswithin Microsoft Research, Unlimited Potential and Windows Live, guiding them towards human-centered innovation through design research, strategy and prototyping.

  4. Dan Harrelson Dan Harrelson is a Design Technologist at Adaptive Path. In this role he brings expertise in application development and back-end systems to product design. Dan's professional interests are the injection of design into agile engineering processes, rapid prototyping techniques and the semantic web.

Jensen Harris Jensen Harris is the Group Program Manager of the Microsoft Office User Experience team and was one of the key designers behind the new Ribbon user interface introduced in Office 2007. Jensen joined Microsoft in 1998, and he has been focused on the overall UI model for Microsoft Office since late 2003.

  6. Mike Schroepfer Mike Schroepfer is responsible for the heart and soul of Mozilla -- its engineering group. As Vice President of Engineering, Mike manages the global, collaborative, open, participatory development process that results in Mozilla’s popular software.

  7. My name is Nishant Kothary and I will be your moderator. I am a UX Evangelist at Microsoft. In my past life, I worked at Amazon on a few products including Unboxand Kindle, both, on the design front, as well as, program management. Prior to that I used to teach various web development courses at Purdue where I earned degrees in Computer Science & Interactive Media.
