Madares Al Ghad

This workshop aims to raise participants’ awareness of the mechanical, emotional, and linguistic elements of writing. We will provide and analyze models for motivating writing tasks that consider these different aspects. Participants will explore common problems students face with writing, including mechanical, cognitive, and affective challenges. Moreover, we will discuss essential considerations when designing writing tasks and strategies to make writing more engaging and 'real' in the classroom.
