Mosquitos, tiny insects with three body parts, inhabit damp areas near water pools and forests, where they rest on walls and ceilings in houses. Adult mosquitos consume nectar from flowers and female ones drink blood to lay eggs. They rarely bite predators for survival. Flying at a fast pace, they flap their wings 600 times per second, producing a unique whining noise. Despite common misconceptions, Mosquitos do not suck blood for enjoyment.
