PA Coaches' Concussion Course: Register Now for State Senate Bill 200 Compliance

  1. Coaches Concussion Course As a result of PA State Senate Bill 200, coaches now need to complete a concussion course annually.

  2. Go to the NFHS website to begin http://www.nfhslearn.com/electiveDetail.aspx?courseID=15000

  3. Click on “Register”

  4. Register as a new user & “Submit Registration”

  5. Return to the main page and “Sign In”

  6. Once signed in, click on “Learn More” under the “concussion in sport” tab

  7. Click on “order now” – The course is free, but you still need to go through the process of placing the order.

  8. Select “ordering the course for myself” and click “continue”

  9. Select “Pennsylvania” and “checkout”

  10. Complete Purchase

  11. Select “My Homepage/Courses”

  12. Under “My Available Courses,” You should see “Concussion in Sports – What you need to know.” Click Begin.

  13. When you have completed the course, return to your homepage

  14. Scroll down to “Completed and Expired Courses.” Select “view/print.”

  15. Print the certificate and turn it into Cindy Nichols in the business office.

  16. Congrats! You’re done!!!
