  2. Holy, Holy, Holy. A passage from the Gospel according to Saint Luke (4:38-41), may his blessings be upon us all. Amen.

  3. Jesus left the synagogue and went to the home of Simon. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Jesus to help her. So He bent over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. She got up at once and began to wait on them. When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying His hands on each one, He healed them. Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, ‘‘You are the Son of God!'' But He rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew He was the Christ.

  13. Christ’s Ascension Why did Christ ascend? ~ To be with the Father ~ So He can prepare a place for us when we go to Him permanently Did Christ ascend alone?? ~ Actually, we are part of Christ’s body, so when He ascends, He takes us with Him!!

  14. Christ’s Ascension How? Do we feel it? Do we see it? ~ Sometimes we can see it and feel it. When God is helping us with something, like to stop lying for example, we will notice that we can stop at times but then sometimes we can’t stop, which is ok. But when Jesus goes up to heaven He offers this piece of us to His Father. And God the Father, because He loves Jesus, His son soooo much, then says ok I will make this blessing strong so that my little children can tell the truth ALL the time.
