OBJECTIVES TODAY WE WILL…. • Generate (ask) questions while we read • Good Readers ask questions as they read • As we read, we try to answer the questions • We ask questions so we can summarize what we have just read • We use a story map to help us to summarize by writing down the characters, setting, and most important events in the beginning, middle, and end of the story.   6. PREVIEW & PREDICT When I say “Go”, take 1 minute to preview the illustrations. Ask yourself: • Who are the main characters? • What do you think the play is about?
