WHAT IS AN INVESTIGATION? • A systematic examination designed to establish the facts relative to an allegation of wrongdoing.The investigator: • Interviews witnesses • Reviews files and documentation • Performs other actions as necessary: subpoenas, surveillance, search warrants, arrests, and recorded evidence.
