2. DINGO Dingoes are wild dogs that live in Australia. They live among deserts, grasslands and edges of forests. They prey on rabbits, kangaroos and rats. They live and hunt in packs up to ten dingoes. That’s how they can take on a kangaroo's powerful kicks. Some dingoes hunt alone, so they hunt lizards, birds and other small animals easy to take down for a small predator. Farmers are dangerous to dingoes because they'd shoot them if they get near their farm animals. People are making dingo proof fences to protect the farm animals and dingoes from getting shot. Dingoes are endangered animals and people are trying to help save them from extinction. BY: CLARA SANDALL
