  1. Tutor an SEO Scholar! TUTORS NEEDED for the 2013-14 School Year! Help Our Scholars on their Path to College • SEO Scholars are motivated but underserved students from low-income New York City public high schools. They dedicate most of their Saturdays to SEO Scholars’ rigorous academic program as theyprepare for competitive college admissions and success. Tutoring not only helps our students do well in their current classes, but also helps build good study habits they will need to succeed in college. What would I be doing as a tutor? • Use what you already know to help our Scholars do their best academically and gain a competitive edge for college admissions. Work with students in small groups or one-on-one on high school class and homework, including Science, Math, English, History and Language. Students will bring their class materials, so there is no preparation required. Just bring your knowledge and experience! Where does it take place? • Baruch College What’s the time commitment? • Mondays and Wednesdays, 4:30pm – 5:30pm in July • What’s the impact? • Huge! The SEO Scholars Class of 2012 was awarded over $1.5 million in scholarships and grants for their first year of college alone. Students were admitted to Amherst, Brown, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell, Swarthmore, Syracuse, Yale, and many other top colleges! • Interested?Contact Kira Slocum at (646) 435-9563 or kslocum@seo-usa.org . www.SEOScholars.org Facebook.com/SEOScholars @SEOScholar
