  20. The Norwegian case • Russian ban on fresh/chilled Norwegian farmed fish introduced 1 January 2006. Justification: Heavy metals – No proofs found • Frozen farmed fish It is now clear that companies that want to export frozen farmed fish to Russia also will need to be inspected and approved by Russian authorities • Wild fish No demands so far regarding inspection or new approval systems
