  2. C A B 1. Le théorème de Pythagore Si un triangle est rectangle alors la somme des carrés des longueurs des deux côtés de l’angle droit est égal au carré de la longueur de l’hypoténuse. Dans le triangle ABC rectangle en A, on a: AB ² + AC ² = BC ²

  4. C A B 2. La réciproque du théorème de Pythagore Dans un triangle, si le carré du plus grand côté est égal à la somme des carrés des deux autres côtés, alors ce triangle est rectangle. Si le triangle ABC est tel que BC ² = AB ² + AC ² Alors ABC est rectangle en A.
