  12. November Ambassador Assignment 1. Locate your nearest Jingle Bell Run. Search the map on www.arthritis.org/jbr or download the master list, which includes AF staff contact information, from the Ambassador Assignment website at www.arthritis.org/ambassador_assignment.php. 4

  13. November Ambassador Assignment 2. Email your Representative’s Health Legislative Assistant requesting your Representative to attend your local JBR. Draft language available on www.arthritis.org/ambassador_assignment.php. HLA’s Email Address: Firstname.Lastname@mail.house.gov 3. One week later, call your Representative’s HLA and follow up on your request. Draft language available on www. arthritis.org/ambassador_assignment.php Email, then Call. 4

  16. November Ambassador Assignment IF THERE IS NOT A JINGLE BELL RUN IN YOUR AREA… • Call your local/state AF office. • Ask to speak with someone in Development. • Ask them what upcoming fundraising event you should ask your Representative to attend. • Follow steps 2-5 above. 4

  17. 2014 Platinum Ambassador Criteria Platinum Ambassadors in 2009: 8 Platinum Ambassadors in 2013: 32 We are improving our standards to catch up with the great work that you are already doing! In 2014, the designation of “Platinum Ambassador” will be bestowed upon individuals that complete all 8 assignments and at least 3 bonus assignments. 4
