In Estonia, key institutions, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and the Technical Inspectorate, have collaborated to enhance electrical safety awareness and compliance with the Low Voltage Directive (LVD). Through various initiatives such as consumer brochures, seminars, and study visits, manufacturers and market surveillance bodies are educated about LVD implementation. The ongoing efforts include a comprehensive testing and calibration strategy and an action plan for 2007-2010, ensuring high standards of electrical safety in the country.
