  2. The view from my window

  3. Through my lounge window. *My lounge window overlooks my front garden, a footpath, the houses opposite and the end of the next road. *The garden has changed over the years to include a fence, a grass area, stone borders and many plants. *The soil is a thick clay which is difficult for plants to grow in. *Many animals like birds and insects visit my garden all through the year.

  6. Animals Lots of animals pay a visit to my garden. I have seen lots of : Birds: robins, blackbirds, pigeons, crows, sparrows, blue tits, yellow tits, starlings and finches. Minibeasts: worms, butterflies, moths, spiders, bees, wasps, flies, beetles, ants, snails and earwigs. Mammals: cats, dogs, hedgehogs, squirrels, mice and a fox And even an Amphibian: frog.   7. Habitats There are many places in my garden for animals to make their home and thrive: A tree, the bushes, in the soil, under stones, in the bark, amongst leaves and in the holes in the wall. Back to main menu

  8. Plants There are many varieties of plants in my garden: ferns, lavender, heathers, daffodils, snowdrops, laurel, fuchsia, veronica, honeysuckle, rose, forsythia, hydrangea, fungus, grass and other bushes and trees. Back to main menu
