  2. Unda sonoră Unda sonoră este o undă longitudinală. Pentru a fi perceput de urechea umană, frecvenţa sunetului trebuie să fie cuprinsă între 20 Hz şi 20000Hz. În cazul tuburilor sonore, în dreptul sursei se formează întotdeauna un ventru (amplitudinea de oscilaţie a moleculelor de aer este maximă)

  5. Imagini - instrumente cu tuburi sonore În cazul unui tub deschis de lungime l=0,5m, armonica fundamentală este f=340 Hz Dacă tubul se închide la un capăt, frecvenţa fundamentală scade la jumătate: f=170 Hz. Frecvenţa emisă de un diapazon este de 440 Hz (sunet pur, fără armonici).
