  1. Hearing, Eye and Heart http://www.nurulquran.com Al-Insan

  2. Hearing The first sense to develop in a developing human embryo is hearing. The foetus' ears begin to develop as early as the twenty-second day of pregnancy and become fully functional in the fourth month. After that, the foetus can hear sounds in its mother's womb. For that reason, the sense of hearing forms before the other vital functions for a new-born baby. The order set out in the Qur'an is striking from that point of view It is He Who has created hearing, sight and minds for you. What little thanks you show! (Qur'an, 23:78) http://www.nurulquran.com

  3. The human ear has 30,000 auditory cells that transmit all kinds of noises in their different vibrations with high sensitivity. The word hearing and its derivatives are mentioned in 185 places in the Quran. Say, "It is He who has produced you and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful.” (67:23) How do we hear? Vibrations are converted to neural impulses which the brain processes Vibrations are converted to neural impulses which the brain processes http://www.nurulquran.com

  5. Effects of loud music on hearing • The real problem is that MP3 players have the ability to blast 104 decibels (dB) straight into the ears – equivalent of standing next to a pneumatic drill (110dB). In fact, any level above 90dB can cause long-term damage to hearing. People with good hearing have tiny hair cells that line the inner ear and these transmit signals to the brain, which are interpreted as sound. Listening to loud music can flatten these hairs, and although they normally spring back into place, noise damage over a long period can cause them to snap. The problem – and one that many people don't realise – is that these hairs do not regrow and so any damage is permanent. http://www.nurulquran.com

  7. Music is forbidden by Allah in the Quran And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. Quran (31:6) http://www.nurulquran.com

  8. Seeing It is known anatomically that a single optic nerve consists of more than a million neuro-fibers. The photosensitive reticular layer of the eye is fully integrated by the 25th week of the a child in the womb. The eyelids of the fetus remains closed until that 26th week. Light is detected as it falls on the retina, the cones and rods in the fovea detect the light and convert it to electrical impulses http://www.nurulquran.com

  9. This conversion of light to electrical impulses is how the brain detects what we “see”. The optic nerve carries these impulses to the brain where its processed at the visual cortex. Thus the brain perceives the image. إِنَّا خَلَقْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ مِنْ نُطْفَةٍ أَمْشَاجٍ نَبْتَلِيهِ فَجَعَلْنَاهُ سَمِيعًا بَصِيرًا Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing. (76:2) The word seeing and its derivatives are mentioned 148 times in the Quran. 25 week old fetus The eye develops http://www.nurulquran.com

  10. The Human Heart The heart is a muscular organ that pumps blood to around the body. It is at the center the circulatory system. This system consists of a network of blood vessels, such as arteries, veins, and capillaries. These blood vessels carry blood to and from all areas of the body. The human heart is mentioned (132) times in the Glorious Qur'an. And We made firm their hearts when they stood up and said, "Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never will we invoke besides Him any deity. We would have certainly spoken, then, an excessive transgression. (18:14) http://www.nurulquran.com

  11. People with healthy (or soft hearts) can have their humane attitude and balanced rational, while diseased (or hard, stony) hearts can loose both their humane touch and their capacity to see and understand. The heart sends signals to the brain in many forms such as: 1- Neurologically through electrical impulses. 2- Chemically through Hormones & Neurotransmitters. 3- Physically by pressure waves. These signals playa key role in mental health etc "When Our Torment reached them, why then did they not believe with humility? But their hearts became hardened, and Shaitan (Satan) made fairseeming to them that which they used to do". (Surat Al-An'âm (The Cattle): 43). http://www.nurulquran.com

  12. The Quran emphasis on the role of the human hearts in the mental, emotional and spiritual decisions of man, these revelations came down more than 14 centuries ago, while physicians have –for centuries – been restricting the function of the human heart to the mere process of pumping the blood throughout the human body . http://www.nurulquran.com
