  2. Introduction • Today we are going to be starting a new unit on religion. • We will be using the computers and Internet to find out information and these three religions • Judaism • Christianity • Islam

  3. Task • Use the given worksheet titled Religion Quest and type the link at the top of the worksheet into the browsers of the Internet. Then complete the questions on the worksheet using the interactive website. • At the top of the website are tabs that will help navigate to another religion, and with in each religion are 4 topics that will help you answer the questions: Celebrations, Sacred Spaces, Beliefs and Resources.

  4. Process • Step 1: Obtain Religion Quest worksheet • Step 2: Go to the Internet and type the link http://www.uri.org/kids/world_juda.htm into the web browser. • Step 3: Follow the worksheet to answer each question correctly, there is a tab for each religion and within each religion are 4 sub categories labeled: Celebrations, Sacred Spaces, Beliefs and Resources. This easy navigation will help you find the answers for the worksheet.

  6. Evaluation • You will be evaluated on two things: • I will be observing/ monitoring the computer lab and watching the students complete the worksheet. I will be looking for students who are on task and working well to complete the worksheet. Students goofing around and not staying on task will loose points toward their participation grade. The participation grade for this unit is worth 15 %. • I will also grade the worksheet out of 100 percent and add this grade to the Religion Unit as part of the class work/ homework grade which is worth 25%.

  7. Conclusion • As a class we will go over the worksheet once it is graded. • We will discuss what we liked or didn’t like about the WebQuest. • This is an introduction to the three religions we will be talking about in the unit, do you feel like you learned a lot already?
