Interpreter converts speech from Japanese to Chinese/ English, or vice versa (especially at technical, political or other meetings) listens, understands and memorizes content 2. Translator converts written material from Japanese into Chinese/ English, or vice versa. handles business, scientific, legal, technical and, very occasionally, literary materials

Teacher, Japanese as Foreign Language prepares material for imaginative and interesting lessons involving the class as a group and individually, so as to develop oral skills gets involved in social activities runs specialist courses for adults or business people, which may require knowledge of scientific, technical or commercial terms
