  1. Hospital visit with no words Chris Tadley

  2. I was playing soccer with my men’s team in the turtle dome when another play struck my head with his head. • Result- I was knocked unconscious and when I came to was unable to speak. • I was only able to make noises • I had all of my cognitive abilities and brain functions but unable to formulate words Pre-visit

  3. During the drive to the hospital I be writing my symptoms down in a long text message. This message was very long and very detailed. • Because I could not form sentences I had to show people the messages I wrote down, but even before that I had to get their attention. • Walking in to the hospital was the most difficult part. I handed the nurse at the desk my phone so she could read what I typed. • She did not understand what I wanted her to do. My friend was able to communicate that for me. Riding to the hospital

  4. I had to have other people give a lot of information for me • The ways I was communicating were through hand signals, head shaking or nodding, and one word answers • I was asked a lot of questions that I thought were unnecessary that I was unable to answer • My doctors never once asked me to write down my thoughts…this became frustrating for me. They could not help and yet wanted to do a bunch of tests • My body ended up healing itself without the aide of any medications or surgeries or anything. Results of hospital stay
