We are providing near term protection at the yards. Coney Island Temporary parameter protection was awarded this year. Similar plans for 207th Street and 148th Street Yards in early 2015.

Sandy Restoration and Resiliency • Supports all Signal work in the Tunnels • Rutgers and Cranberry Tubes which are planned for award in 2015; and the Canarsie Tube. • Signals will take the lead in the modernizing of the Yard Projects: • 207th St Yard (including 200th St Interlocking) is planned for award for 2016. This will be the first major capital investment in the yard since the 1930s • 148th St Yard would follow next in 2017/18 • Rockaway Park would be awarded in 2018 • Coney Island Yard, the largest of the 4 yards would be done in a phased approach to minimize operational impact. • (note Yard projects – over $1B in work)
