EA Ambassadors are proactive leaders who advocate for mentorship, organize fundraising events, and foster community engagement on their campuses. As an ambassador, you will recruit mentors, promote EA programs, provide training, and ensure mentor-mentee interactions are effectively tracked. You will also plan and execute events while supporting fundraising initiatives. Monthly meetings with the EA Board will help you share insights and enhance your leadership skills.   2. What is an EA Ambassador • EA Ambassadors are dependable leaders that campaign on their college campuses mentors, events, and fundraisers.

  3. Duties • Mentor Recruiting • Promote EA • Mentor training • Keep track of mentors interactions with mentees • Fundraise • Organize events • Report to EA Board members • Attend Ambassador meetings

  4. Mentor Recruiting • Mentor Recruiting is require at least once a year or when needed • Mentors must be sophomores or above • They must be leaders and of different academic disciplines • All mentors must complete mentor training

  5. Training • Training can be in person or it can be by an online source depending on the ambassador’s opinion. • Training Topics (brief outline) • Hours of mentoring • Mentoring platform (skype, whatsapp) • Time zone • Curriculum • Important Events and dates • Survey requirements

  6. Monitoring mentors • Mentors should complete inventory of the mentors periodically and report information the EA board • How many mentors • Amount of contact with mentee • Updated contact information • Survey results (given by EA board)

  7. Events and Fundraising • As an ambassador it is your duty to keep mentors pumped and involved in EA. This can be accomplished by holding on campus events, volunteering, and fundraising. • There may be money in the budget to help with some events; however, this is not guaranteed. Thus, it is your responsibility to fundraise money for any event. • Before having an event you should complete an event proposal in detail. Including how you may require support.

  8. Ambassador Reports • Ambassadors are required to report monthly to EA board. • Reports should be completed fully and in a timely manner. • Please write something in the comment area. It will allow us to assist you better and make changes.

  9. Ambassador Meetings • Once a month we will have ambassador meetings to analyze your progress and success. Meetings will be held on skype. • All ambassadors from all universities will be present • Discussions will be held on how you can improve. You will be able to learn a great deal form other ambassadors as they talk about their failures and successes.
